Who we are
HaulEra provides residential clearance services across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us on haulera@outlook.com or +44 7947 967944.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address and the collection address.
- Job details: the service chosen, date and time slot, notes and any photos you send.
- Account details if you register — email address and a securely hashed password, or a Google sign-in.
- Payment status and a payment reference. We never see or store your full card number.
Why we use it
To quote the job, hold your slot, turn up at the right address, take payment, keep a record of completed work, and contact you about your booking by phone, WhatsApp or email. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party marketing.
Payments and card data
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own PCI-DSS Level 1 certified checkout and are never transmitted to or stored on our systems — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded. Cash payments are recorded against your job by our crew.
Where it's stored
Bookings and account data are stored in an encrypted, access-controlled database. Access is restricted by role: customers can only see their own jobs, and only named HaulEra staff can view the full diary. Photos you upload are held in private storage and shared through short-lived links.
How long we keep it
Job records are kept for six years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Photos are kept for up to twelve months after a job is completed. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of your data, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how we use it. Email haulera@outlook.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your booking progress. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
